I am a transplant patient and I had previously suffered from many problems since the operation. A FIT test revealed blood where it should not have been, so I was referred to Mr Panchal during the Covid crisis. A telephone appointment was made and Mr Panchal advised me. At all times he was polite, reassuring and all options and drawbacks were explained patiently, especially with respect to my particular situation. A plan was made and tests completed. Thankfully the outcome was a lot better than I feared, and a letter and explanatory leaflet was sent to me to study. I would like to thank Mr Panchal and all the people who helped me along the way, including X-Ray staff and the two operatives who performed the procedure efficiently and with good humour.

I was seen face-to-face at Westmorland General Hospital’s Outpatient Department on 30/11/2020 by Mr S Panchal. From the start of the consultation right through to the end Mr Panchal treat me with a high level of professionalism, empathy and respect. All treatment options were explained in full, along with potential risks, side-effects and especially whilst in a Covid pandemic. Mr Panchal allowed me to make informed choices based on fact. Thank you. Mr Martin.

I recently had a telephone consultation with Dr Panchal with which I was extremely satisfied. He listened to all my questions, and answered them all with patience and understanding. It’s nice to have confidence in a Dr and even after just one conversation I feel that that’s exactly what I have.

I had a telephone consultation with Mr Panchal. He contacted me at the agreed time. He put me at ease immediately and listened when I elaborated on the detail provided by my GP. We discussed symptoms in detail after which he explained a path forward. Part of this was pointing out the priority levels taken by the hospital and where I fit within this system. At the end of the consultation I was fully aware of what to expect and felt as fully informed as I could have been.

I had a phone consultation with Mr Panchal in response to a referral from my GP and found him courteous and very sympathetic to my conditions in relation to potential surgery. Having recently been diagnosed with Addison’s disease I had a lot of concerns and Mr Panchal put my mind at rest with his calm and professional demeanour. I have a further review in 6 months and will have no concerns should surgery be available at that time.
